The batch of 2005… Volunteers!!!
9 vols in the dept… 6 guys,…. Gagan , amit(dead dog!), amit, ankur, vinay(vps) , yogesh hooda and 3 girls.. bindu, shruthi, spoorthi(spoo)… highly enthued people… but very busy indeed… u might be surprised to hear that these people write almost around 12 tuts a week… thts nearly twice the number of tuts that any EEE ite doing his cdc would write in our times… despite their busy schedule they are always thr in the department to entertain us… actually looking forward for the TT match n body building competition that they intend to have very soon!! ( don and raghu… beware!!!) and not to forget… the guys of this batch have taken up the mission of teachin our dear psenti semites the basics of hindi…. A very tough task actually!!!

Hmm… where to start n wher to end?? This batch has certainly been amazing…rite frm their first year… great enthu… n hard work ??!!?? Anyone who walks into sub would’nt miss any of those great works of art found on the walls n tables… undoubtedly itz the great painter n his moral supporter’s work!! One can never determine the hidden talents within them… nowhere would u find a person who boasts arnd for bein the camel paintin contest in his 2nd std n so claims himself to be the gr8est painter… the batch on the whole is a fundoo one n many a times u wud find ppl comparin how much each of them hv scored above the ave.... n the girls of this batch… ones who could chatter endlessly …(pity the listeners!) but they do really come out with brilliant ideas at times..

Girls: preethi, aish , aishu, subashree, meerthika , sandhya, divya, anuraag

they call themselve the "BIG3".... too much of rouse n too much of scene... but always the best! our psentisemites... (wid the costaan)

sranaya ...great work ...should appreciate the fact that u have uploaded all this fotos with the pilani net speed !!!
All said and done ...no backdrop/panel can match the 'Aladin panel' which me, speed, skay, kattan, don created during my APOGEE'03.
The same gang due to compulsion and request had to lay their hands on the Flintstone's panel also ...
If u need any help this year ..i wont be around ...but my talented Ju's are there to take care of that !!

nandha u urself know...how talented we ppl are in hindi...how we organized all the trips rite frm our first one.... still the BIG3 is responsible for all the interactions outside in hindi.....so we need not prove tht we r pandits in handi..
well said nandha....we hav been doing panels for 3 years and i guess this time also we ppl only hav to do it .. but this time we have started rite frm papering and r going to do everything till the end...
we the "BIG3"(sk,speed,don) are planning to train our ju's so tht they can manage without us next year....
and nandha do u know this ....saranya has challenged 800 mts race with don..and u know wat an athlete don is?
saranya n preethi r also challenging the AUDIFORCE...sad ppl...the BIG3 is again the pillars there...only if they ask sorry will they be allowed into the audi fo inaug..

I guess u better take back all your challenges....
Speed, Skay and DON were the ones who used to get workshop things done...even the workshop guy pawan is amazed by their hindi...and they were solely responsible for organizing almost all the trips right from year 1...especially the Kulu Manalai trip where Speed single handedly gave company to the driver Rakesh in hindi ....
ALl said and done , this year also the Big 3 has to start of the panel work right from papering ...no wonder u guys might be request to paint ...speed, skay , don start of the panel with our threading , 3D fundas ...may be you can teach preethi, saranya, pavithra so that they can handle stuffs in the years to come :-)
WHat !! they are challenging AUDI FORCE ah !! Ask them whether they wanna come to inaug or not ...also dont they wanna see next oasis ka FAshp, Raazmataz ....dont challenge the pillars !!

hail the hindi pandits!! one pandit givin certificate to another ... wat comedy huh??? sk... all of us know wat ur vocab is... ji, paani, namak, haan, hai n a few more tuff words... isnt it? yeah.. sure u r a pandit!!
n one more thing.. as this z gonna be the last apogee for these ppl (sk speed don) we thot they musnt feel bad cos this ll be the fourth yr they r gonna jus see us ppl workin on the panel n paint it... so thtz y we gave them the job of paperin... finally atleast... let them hv the satisfaction of doin somethin...!!! but wat i can see is...they r cravin for more... they say they wanna PAINT?? dont u think thtz jus too much???? last yr speed held the brush the other way round and started paintin!! n don jus poured a bottled of paint over it.. but sk was decent of the lot... he jus gave them moral support!!

Being a really old member .. I need to object to this whole thing of the "BIG3" painting and papering and workshop-ing and all that... A few facts might help
1. That aladdin panel was done solely bu shivi... she had some shiya kedis like Mouth to help her.. the above said people didnt even come near the panel , until they were called to bring the mess cart to transport it to the insti... and these guys were talking turns to ride that three wheeled cycle and taking snaps that it took us more than half a day to transport it from the SUB to the insti !!!!!
2.Workshop skills : Speed and a few others were found missing for a few days...they had taken up the task of going to the workshop to make lampshades.. After frantic search - we saw these guys behind a huge structure which they called lampshade.. Infact the structure was sooo big art n dee came to us begging to give it to them as a subsititute for their D laws structure !!!!!
Sharanya : Dont be afraid of these guys !! Ongi oru satham potta ( That translates to "if you raise your voice" they will shut up!!)
PS : the main reason they are all a part of the audi force grp is so they can escape the long lines, not to mention the front seats in Fash P etc .... Nee vidu Sharanya.. yenna thaan panranga paathudalam !!!!
yeah salai... thks for that.... actually these guys kept tellin stories abt their first yr panel... n lampshades... jus now got to know tht all thts crap...
audi force!! ya ya... only scene ntn else... genly to sit outside d audi n watch ppl rnd... n then to run away frm tht spot if some prob arises... n yup... front rows in audi.... whoz afraid of them??? ha ha.. they need to be afraid!!
Look who is talking !! The proclaimed old member learnt all those painting and workshop skills from me and speed..now she is giving false statements...
coming to aladin panel ..we were the ones who gave the idea and did the threading ..and also the painting ...shivi helped us by giving some awesome ideas...but then the big3 were the master minds behind the panel.
regarding the lik between aladdin and tajmahal ...the credit again goes to big 3 ...the panel portays alading gifting a minature taj mahal to his GF .....
reg Audio force...dont forget guys we were the ones who gave u people easy entry and first rows for watching oasis inaug...now dont try to fool us ..there is one more oasis that you guys wanna see....:-)
Saranya and chitra for your infor the lampashade was made the procalimed 'old member' ...u can still confirm the same from the workshop guys
Ok .. first of all .. me,akila nd kothi were the ones who decided what the panel should be, we went to cnot and got 2 color printouts done. Shivi was the one who gridded it, infact these guys created sooo much rouz standing near her,disturbing her when she painted, that she put a restraining order on these guys. Only the girls, and mouth and kudurai could go near the panel. And in the aladdin panel, there is no Taj Mahal, it is basically a princess, and her place. For futher details,check out the foto I am going to upload soon.
As for workshop - the only reason these guys used to ask girls to come is so we should "vanzhinjufy" to pawan so they could get their stuff done soon x-(
